The Cantaloupe is defined by two elements, its roughly netted stone and green coloured skin and its aromatic orange-coral coloured flesh. When perfectly ripe, the flesh is juicy, unctuous and sweet. The Cantaloupe will feel heavy versus hollow, a weightiness which is an indicator of its water content. 1 Piece weighs around 500 to 800 Grams
Eaten raw, in fruit salads and smoothies. Along with its aromatic taste and high water content it is incredibly nutritious too - high in vitamin K, niacin, vitamin B-6, folate, magnesium, and potassium.
