Cooking Steps
- Separate the egg whites and egg yolks into two separate bowls. 5 large egg whites and 3 large egg yolks.
- Whisk the egg yolks until homogeneous and pale in colour and whites until they become foam.
- Carefully fold the egg yolks and whites until fully incorporated.
- Pour the egg mixture into a medium non-stick pan with a lid. Cook over medium-low heat.
- Lift sides of the omelette and drop 1 tbsp of butter underneath.
- Cover the pan and cook for 5 min, or until the top of the omelette has set.
- By removing the lid, season the omelette with salt and pepper.
- Transfer it to the serving plate by folding it on the plate and sprinkle chives on it.
- Serve Hot!
