Kadaknath chicken contains 25-27% of protein in comparison with other breeds of chickens that contain lesser amount of protein. The breed is also known for its high iron content. The fat and cholesterol content is lower compared with other chicken which is why Kadaknath is believed to have many medicinal properties.
